Did you know that there’s a thriving community garden on the grounds of our beautiful and historic Government House? Jackson McLean (winner of last year’s FEAST photo contest, by the way) has been working with local students and volunteers, including Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie, to develop the garden since 2010. There’s a write-up and some fantastic photo galleries here on the CBC website. What an inspiration!
