There are so many exciting gardening events happening this spring!
On Saturday, May 12, Safer Soil and LeadNL will host a free public workshop on “Designing a Lead-Safe Yard or Vegetable Garden,“ from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, at the St. John’s City Hall Foran/Greene Room
The workshop will be led by landscape architect and city planner Luisa Oliveira of Boston. Luisa is an expert on garden and landscape planning for areas where lead is present in soil and will help you to design a plan for your own back yard or community garden.
