Once again, FEASt will be hosting workshops at the St. John’s Farmers’ Market through the summer market season.

These workshops are free, casual and open to the public – no need to register, just grab a chair and join us!

Local food: so much to talk about!

In the past, we’ve covered a range of topics related to local foods, including container gardening, canning and preserving, cooking local foods, lead-safe gardening, saving your own seeds, and growing sprouts.

Do you have any suggestions about workshop topics for this summer? Is there something about local food growing, food storage, or food preparation that you would like to learn? Do you have local food knowledge that you would like to share?

Please drop us a line at local.feast@gmail.com if you have any suggestions for workshops, or if you would like to help us out with our workshop season. It’s great fun, and an excellent opportunity to learn how to make our food system more secure, more diverse, and more delicious!
